Petruccioli President, we, the Italian poets, we think that Rai, serving as the organ institutional framework for the dissemination of culture and information, can and must put a stop to the immorality that for too long now, and dealing is rampant in all areas of distribution available - especially those of the largest audience - offering, forcing the general public their speculations, based essentially on the concept of overwhelming and uncontrollable ego, in language that often approaches turpiloquio.Il the message arrives, especially dangerous for younger, is a fight to the death, trampling everyone and everything, just to keep firm their undeserved positions, creating a platform based on arrogance, insult Free and lack of respect. The victims are those decent people who have to suffer these insults without the possibility of giving difesa.Si least, Mr. President, the opportunity to offset the fair's trash, with a cultural space worthy of the name, entrusting the management to people who can grow the 'interest in culture and the poesia. In Italy, you will know certainly, millions of citizens have solitude in their passion for poetry. And the choice is not due to fear to ask the opinion of any critic, but the risk, unfortunately high, having to deal with the insensitivity, or worse yet, with derision, in charge of public information and cultural customs. Not long ago, a private radio station has closed the door on the poets, removing perhaps the only book of poetry existing in Italy, arguing that the transmission was not listening, not selling advertising space and, therefore, was canceled. We ask that Rai, a public company, which also boasted in the past has great awareness of poetry and literature, takes note of this sad situation and find appropriate measures to defend and propitiate highest ethical and aesthetic values.
